Requesting Medical Services

To request a visit from our medical rounding team for yourself or others, please call or text 503-501-1231

Please provide the following information:

• Your name and a return contact

• Some identifiers of the individual you are calling about (name, description, where we might locate them, cross streets, etc.)

• The concern you are calling about

• If you are calling about someone else, please specify if they have confirmed they are interested in a visit from our team.

We will do our best to look for this individual when we are next out on rounds or can mobilize a team to reach out to them.

Supply Donations

Interested in donating supplies to Portland Street Medicine? 

We appreciate supply donations, but due to limited storage capacity and the nature of our work we are unable to accept many items that would be useful for other clinics. Please see below for examples of items that we may be able to accept, and items that we cannot.  

We may accept: 

• Gauze pads and rolled gauze 

• Cohesive bandages (coban) 

• Band-aids 

• Alcohol wipes 

• Saline, in easily portable containers 

• Medical tape 

• ACE Wrap 

• Ointments 

• Orthopedic equipment 

• Survival supplies like tents, sleeping bags, tarps, blankets, and hand warmers 

• And more! 

Since we work almost entirely outside and are always on the move, we get the most use out of things that are individually wrapped and easily packable/portable. Items must be new in packaging and not expired.  

We cannot accept: 

• Anything out of date 

• Insulin 

• Medications, prescription and OTC 

• Larger clinical equipment (drapes, IV stands, etc.)
